The UniSyn™ Hip System is
designed with flexibility in mind. All components are
completely interchangeable. This allows for independent
adjustment of both the size and orientation of each
component. It also simplifies surgery by providing more
surgical options and a logical, stepwise technique.

Modular Neck
• Vertical Length Options (30mm, 36mm, 45mm, 55mm)
• Lateral Offset Options (34mm, 38mm, 42mm, 46mm)
• Sixteen different Neck sizes are available for
unmatched restoration of leg length, lateral offset, and
anteversion. Four vertical lengths with four lateral
options for each cover primary and calcar revision cases.

UniSyn™ Connection
Technology All
available neck sizes are connected with the patented
UniSyn™ Connection Technology (U.S. Patent #'s:
4,851,007; 5,876,459; 5,906,644; 5,725,592; 5,902,340).
This patented connection technology combines two
established connections, a Morse Taper and an Expanding
Collet. These two connections act in concert to
stabilize the neck against applied loads and are the key
to providing a wide range of component sizes with a
single connection geometry.

• Stems are available in Straight or "True Radius" Bowed
versions. Bow alignment is completely independent of
Neck version. All available Stem sizes are connected
with the patented UniSyn™ Connection Technology
Available Sizes:
• Stems in each millimeter diameter from 10 to 20mm.
• Straight Stem lengths from 130 to 210mm.
• Bowed Stem lengths in 210, 260, and 310mm.
• Custom Stems available upon request. |

Modular
Body
• Titanium Plasma Surface
• 6 Cone Diameters(22mm, 24mm, 26mm, 28mm, 30mm, 32mm)
• Multiple medial projection options for each cone size
• Twenty-one different Proximal Bodies are available.
Titanium plasma sprayed Bodies have six different cone
diameters with multiple medial projections for each
size. Double tapering medial projections with a natural
medial arc provide better proximal fit than conventional
modular bodies. All available body sizes are connected
with the patented Unisyn™ Connection Technology |

Femoral
Heads
Heads available for the UniSyn™ Hip System are
manufactured and inspected to very demanding standards.
Alumina and Zirconia Ceramic heads are available in 28mm
and 32mm sizes. Cobalt Chrome head sizes include 22, 28,
and 32mm. Heads are connected to the UniSyn™ Neck
component with a standard 12/14 taper.
